Hire Association Europe (HAE EHA) have agreed a new package of incentives with The Fuelcard People, their new fuel cards partner, aimed to helping members keep fuel bills down. “The offer of discounted fuel costs and easy to administer, yet secure, fuelcards, will be a strong attraction for members to sign up”, says Graham Arundell, HAE EHA Managing Director.

The Fuelcard People are part of DCC PLc and are authorised agents for some of the most prominent and extensive forecourt brands in the industry including BP, Esso, Shell, Texaco, Gulf, Emo, Pace, Diesel Direct (Keyfuels) and UK Fuels. They offer, by far the widest, selection of fuel cards available from a single independent UK supplier.

Typical price savings on the pump price are up to 5p per litre and 10p at motorway service stations – impressive savings and, with better fuel economy and lower emissions, good for the bottom line and the environment. The fixed weekly prices provide certainty and help budgeting.

The HAE EHA Fuelcard also makes it more secure for businesses as no bank details are shown or stored on the card and cards can be cancelled immediately 24/7. Administration is kept easy with eBilling of invoices and statements direct (making VAT reclaim simpler) and an online application form. Several members have already signed up through HAE EHA including Allens Catering Hire, FT Solutions and Universal Hire Services.

The Fuelcard People also pride themselves on strong customer service. As Marketing Manager Steve Clarke says; “We knew from experience that most of us would rather deal with a real individual than with a faceless company,” he said. “So, when an organisation based upon real personal service was being created, The Fuelcard People was an inspired choice.
